Web designers are not created equal

Two households, both alike in dignity, In fair Calgary, where we lay our scene

It’s no secret that building a website is relatively easy. WordPress, Blogger, Dreamweaver templates and scores of providers that offer free webdesigns make it easy for anybody with a valid credit card to get a website.

What a wonderful world!

But (you knew that was coming…) not all web sites are created equal. Templates generally look like templates and are easy to spot if you see enough of them. But design aside, there is more to a working website than your logo and copy that says what you do.

If you are dealing with a designer who does not keep up with current technologies and trends, you run the risk of having a site that nobody can find.  The methods of making your website found by search engines have changed drastically in the last few years. It’s no longer enough to simply build a site and leave it there. Not only does the content have to be updated regularly but the code behind the site needs to be updated to keep your site ahead of the competition.
Visually, your site will age soon too. Keeping graphics and methods up to date will keep it fresh, interesting and worthy of a search engine’s trouble.
Getting a designer who knows what they’re doing doesn’t have to be an expensive option. It’s a fact that when you choose NBurman Design, you will be saving hundreds of dollars – maybe more.

Check out the portfolio to see what that looks like.
