The lowly business card. Despised and oft alone. Rejected and cast away like an unwanted wrapper.

Love it or tolerate it, the business card is a tool that every business owner needs.

How much do you need a great business card? Put it in your top three needs. It should get roughly the same billing (not in an invoice sense) as a telephone and a business name.

Unfortunately, many printers have denigrated this essential form of communication to a bare necessity by charging $39.95, including layout, for a thousand cards. A thousand! Do you know how long that would take to get rid of? Yes, hours. Maybe days! If you are keen, that is.

Why is the cheap card so bad? Because you get what you pay for. Yes, any printer can lay out your essential details in a standard, left justified box, 20mm from the edge with your logo in some prominent position. Slap it on cheap card and hope you come back for more. But why should your business be presented in such a lowly, boring and typical fashion? I have to presume that your business is not lowly, boring and typical.

Your business card is your brand. When someone touches it, reads it, and stores it away, they are encountering your brand. Your company is at stake. Your reputation.

So take some care and thought about how your hand your entire business over to someone the next time you meet and pass over that card. Think about what is on it, how it’s printed and what people are thinking.

NBurmanDesign designs business cards with your brand in mind. For only $135 we can also get them printed and laminated with either a matte or gloss finish. They really are fantastic looking – everyone who sees them is impressed! That’s a total of $285 for 1000 cards that will show the world how great your business is.

A small investment for major impact. That’s great design ROI!
