If you’re between the age of about 35 and 45, start getting jealous now. You will never be Canada’s first bionic man… Rob Anderson beat you to it!
Mr Anderson (not that Mr Anderson) lost his arm in a helicopter crash two years ago. I can only imagine the anguish and everyday frustration that goes hand in hand (!) with such a loss. The doctors meetings and conferences with specialists would be exhausting enough. Then the press need their pound. It’s no wonder that talking on the CBC network today, he was relieved to see the frenzy surrounding his biological and mechanical marvel die down.
While listening to him talk, something else struck me. This man knows way too much. Instead of the Joe that he might otherwise have been, he has become something of a specialist in the field of replacement limb technology. It sounded like he knew way too much about technology that, failing a tragedy, he would normally be ignorant of.
Most business people are specialists. That’s why they go into business. They have something or know something or do something that many others do not, and make a business out of it.
If you’re in business for yourself, are you becoming too much of a specialist in areas that are simply stealing your time, and dragging you away from the thing that got you in business to begin with?
Instead of hunting and pecking around complicated graphic design software or struggling with print technologies, save your time and money and hire a professional to take care of media.
NBurman Design has already climbed the learning curve, invested the time and bought the hardware. We already have the ideas. And they are here so that you can concentrate on what you do best.
Call NBurman Design and get your business on track. And looking it’s best.
